On May 31, in view of the entry into force of the Digital Operation Resilience Act (DORA) in January 2025, the European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA, and ESMA, collectively the ESAs) published the models and tools useful for the test exercise on the reporting of registers containing information regarding ICT services (Information and Communication Technologies).
Following the press release of April 11, the Authorities have made the materials useful to prepare and report their registers on contractual agreements regarding the use of third-party ICT service providers available to financial entities. The materials, published on the ESAs’ websites, include:
• models for the information registers with examples (Excel files);
• the draft of the “technical package” for the reporting, including the data point model (DPM), the table layout with annotations and the validation rules;
• an optional tool to convert models in Excel to .csv files and .zip files for the filing;
• FAQs on the test exercise.
Participating financial entities are required to submit their registers between July 1 and August 31 to the competent supervisory authority, using the provided platform.
